JRHA graduates dominate G1/Tenno Sho

Tosen Jordan

The field of the G1/Tenno Sho Autumn, known as the "Emperor's Cup" on October 30th at Tokyo racecourse was the most competitive in the history, as it included seven Graded One Stakes winners, and the result is fascinating for Japan Racing Horse Association, the organizer of July Select Sale.
It was won by Tosen Jordan(JPN), 5-y-o Horse by Jungle Pocket. Tosen Jordan was bred by Northern Farm and bought at the yearling session of 2007 JRHA Select Sale by JHS Ltd for 170,000,000yen. JRHA would like to express hearty congratulations to the owner of Tosen Jordan, Mr. Takaya Shimakawa, who is one of the greatest supporter of JRHA Sale and has won his first Graded One Stakes.
The runner-up was Dark Shadow(JPN), 4-y-o colt by Dance in the Dark, who was bought at the foal session of 2007 JRHA Select Sale by Tomokazu Iizuka for 25,000,000yen. And the third finisher was Pelusa(JPN), 4-y-o colt by Zenno Rob Roy, who was bought at the foal session of 2007 JRHA Select Sale by Nobutaka Tada for 100,000,000yen.
The JRHA July Select Sale, the proven place as the source of great runners, will be taken place at Northern Horse Park on July 9th and 10th in 2012, where you will find well-bred and talented young horses by Jungle Pocket, Dance in the Dark, Zenno Rob Roy, and others.
