It is reported Nakayama Festa(JPN) and Hiruno d'Amour, intended runners in the Prix de l'Arc de Tiomphe on October 2nd at Longchamp, are kept in fantastic condition and ready to produce their best form on Sunday.
Nakayama Festa(JPN), 5-y-o Horse by Stay Gold(JPN) who finished second to Workforce in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in 2010, will attempt to get one better place than 12 month ago on October 2nd. The Yoshitaka Nonomiya's trainee, who sidelined for ten months due to injury, returned to the racecourse on September 11th at Longchamp, where he was beaten for three lengths by Sarafina in G2/Prix Foy. Nakayama Festa, bred by Arai Bokujo, was sold to Shinichi Izumi for 10,000,000yen at the yearling session of 2007 JRHA Select Sale. Masayoshi Ebina is booked for him on Sunday.
Nakayama Festa will be joined by Hiruno d'Amour(JPN), 4-y-o Colt by Manhattan Café(JPN), who finished second to Sarafina in G2/Prox Foy, to complete the field of Prix de l'Arc de Tiomphe.
Nakayama Knight(JPN), 3-y-o Colt by Stay Gold(JPN), will be in the field of G2/Prix Dollar on Saturday at Longchamp. The colt, who is also owned by Shinichi Izumi and trained by Yoshitaka Ninomiya, is bred by Okita Bokujo and sold for 10,000,000yen at the yearling session of 2009 JRHA Select Sale. Nakayama Knight is the winner of G3/Kyodo Tsushin Hai and finished sixth in G2/Prix Niel on September 11th.
